The Cambridge club (Beehive Centre) is running some fantastic workshops and masterclasses this half-term! They will also host a variety of award week intensives to help prepare your child for the first Award Week of 2025: Monday 3rd March – Sunday 9th March 2025.

Cambridge: Half-Term Schedule
Advanced Twisting Masterclass
The session will focus on beginning to learn how to add twists to forward and backwards somersaults. Therefore participating gymnasts must be able to do a tuck-back somersault in order to attend this masterclass. This masterclass is open only to Squads or Advanced Gymnasts.

Intermediate Walkover & Roundoff Workshop
Intermediate Gymnasts will spend time developing the flexibility, strength and coordination needed to improve their front/back walkovers & round-offs.

Ninja Flow Workshop
This workshop is open to all level ninjas aged 7+ years. The workshop will focus on learning how to combine skills into short routines, where they link the various jumps and vaults they’ve been learning in their weekly classes.

Beginner Bars Workshop
This workshop is open to Beginner Gymnasts aged 6+ years. The session will mainly focus on circle ups and back hip circles, as these are important fundamental skills that many gymnasts need to work on or struggle to perfect.

Dance Workshop
Over the 2 hours, the children will learn a routine together, which they will then have the opportunity to perform at the end of the session. This dance workshop is open to all members aged 8+ years.
DATE: Friday 21st February
TIME: 13:30 – 15:30
PERFORMANCE: Please arrive 15 minutes before the end of the workshop for the performance.

Intermediate/Advanced Handspring Masterclass
This session will break down the different stages of both front and back handsprings to improve the gymnasts’ strength and confidence with the skill. This masterclass is open to Intermediate & Advanced Gymnasts aged 7+ years.
