Frequently Asked Questions (Clubs)

Community Clubs

Do some of the community clubs close over some school holidays?

As our Community Clubs are hosted in community spaces, such as schools, some of our community clubs* need to close during certain school holidays, such as the summer holidays.

We will communicate closure dates to you in advance each year. We have also listed the next closure and reopen dates on each community club page:

Chester- Upton
Liverpool- Aintree
Liverpool- Childwall
Liverpool- Kirkby
Liverpool-Litherland
Liverpool- Woolton
Warrington- Padgate

*Our community clubs in Swavesey and St Neots do not close during school holidays.

How do community club closures affect my membership's monthly billing?

You will continue to be billed for your membership every month. To keep your monthly prices the same, we charge 12 equal payments per year (instead of charging a higher price for 11 months of the year).

Your monthly payments are calculated to account for when the community club you attend needs to close. Therefore please don’t cancel your subscription during these closure periods. If you do, your space will be lost and there will be an outstanding balance to settle before rejoining.

Please get in touch at info@gymfinitykids.com if you have any questions at all.

Is the equipment in the community clubs the same as the main club?

No, the equipment varies in the community clubs.
The sessions are designed to introduce children to the basics of gymnastics, our main clubs has a range of equipment used to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced gymnastics.

*Please refer to your community club gallery

Can I move my child to the main club at any point?

Yes, you are more than welcome to sign up to any of the clubs. Please note you will need to cancel your current membership and re-sign up to the club of your choice.

What happens if my child misses a class?

If you miss your class, we are unable to provide a refund or a make-up session for the missed class.

Can I stay and watch my child?

Parents are welcome to watch their child’s first class, then during our weekly classes, parents drop off and pick up (with exception of parents in the pre-school classes)
No parents should be staying throughout the class to watch. If a child is nervous and wishes to have the support of their parent, the parent may be allowed to stay for half of the class or until the child is settled. However, they will need to discuss this with management/the coaches beforehand.

Membership

Do you offer SEN-specific sessions?

Unfortunately, we do not have specific SEN classes or specifically trained coaches.

Every child is different and requires different needs. We ask you to consider if your child can independently take part in classes with groups of up to 8 children’s potential loud noises and lights.

At Gymfinity, we aim to cater for all children and pride ourselves on being as adaptive as possible during our sessions. The best way for our coaches to gauge what is best for your child is to bring them in for a taster session. After this hour session we can recommend the class that we feel would be best suited and you can see how well the club fits the needs of you and your child. Ultimately, all we ask is that your child can safely and independently participate in the sessions, the rest can be left up to us.

Specific SEN sessions are something we are working on for the near future so please let us know what club you are interested in by getting in touch at info@gymfinitykids.com, and we can contact you when we launch these if you decide that our regular sessions aren’t suitable.

Is Gymfinity Kids Ofsted registered?

Gymfinity Kids is not Ofsted registered and as a result we do not accept any childcare vouchers or universal credit vouchers as payment for holiday camps or memberships.

What happens if my child misses a class?

If you miss your class, we are unable to provide a refund or a make-up session for the missed class.

However, if the club needs to cancel your class (i.e. a competition, club is closed for maintenance or certain bank holidays etc.) then you will have the opportunity to book a make-up session to replace the class cancelled by the club. With these instances, please be sure to book your make-up session as soon as possible and be aware of the deadline for when the make-up session needs to be taken.

Can my child attend more than one taster session?

We allow one taster session per child. If you wish for your child to attend a second taster session in a new activity, please contact the club directly or our member services team at: info@gymfinitykids.com
