Welcome to Gymfinity Kids!

5 min read

We’re so excited to welcome you to Gymfinity Kids! We have some key information to share with you as a new member of our club.

If you are now a member at one of the following locations, please read on. You can click on the club location below to find out the address and more information specific to the club i.e. parking.

Welcome to Gymfinity Kids!

Arrival to club

Please arrive at your first session 10 minutes early and let the reception know it’s your first class. If your club has Access Control gates, you and your child will be issued membership cards that you will use to enter and exit the club.

ACCESS CONTROL GATES

We have access gates in the following clubs: Bracknell, Cambridge (Beehive Centre), Chatham, Maidstone, Milton Keynes, Walton-on-Thames and Wandsworth.

All children have ‘Independent Access’ to the club – this means your child can enter and exit the club without parental supervision if they have a Gymfinity Kids access card to unlock the gates.

If you don’t want your child to have independent access, please change the consent setting in your online account.

Hit the button below to find out more about how to use our Access Gates and how to adjust your access gate settings.

What should my child wear for their classes?

We encourage all members to wear Gymfinity Kids Uniform which is available to purchase at reception. The correct clothing for training is shorts and t-shirt, leggings and a t-shirt or leotard. Please do not wear anything loose-fitting. We do not allow any footwear on the gym floor

Please note:

  • Long hair needs to be tied back
  • No jewellery is permitted – if ears have recently been pierced they must be covered up with tape or plasters
  • No food is permitted during our sessions, but please remember to bring along a drink for your child
  • Children are encouraged to visit the bathroom before they start their session

What else is available at Gymfinity Kids clubs?

Not only do we offer engaging activity classes, but we also run a whole host of fun events that your child can get involved in!

HOLIDAY CAMPS

During the school breaks, all club locations welcome members and non-members (aged 5 – 14 years) to holiday camps that are jam-packed full of action.

CLUB NIGHT

Select clubs host a special Club Night evening on the first Friday of the month where members (aged 5+ years) can expect 2 hours of games and fun on the gym floor, followed by pizza! Hit the button below to see which clubs are hosting the next club night.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Our state-of-the-art club is the perfect birthday party venue to get children moving. We throw parties everyone wants to be invited to and children can choose between a Gymnastics, Ninja or Fun-time party theme.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have listed some of the top FAQ’s below but please do explore our other FAQs if you have any additional queries.

Is it possible for my child to try another activity that you offer at the club?

We offer gymnastics and ninja at our clubs, and dance classes at select clubs. We allow one taster session per child, but your child is more than welcome to attend a second taster session in a new activity. Please contact the club directly or our member services team at: info@gymfinitykids.com.

Can I stay and view my child’s class?

Parents are welcome to stay and view their child’s class. We have refreshment facilities and free Wi-Fi available so you can stay on-site and relax in our viewing area during your child’s class.

To prevent overcrowding within our facilities, we ask that only one parent per child attend. Viewing is limited and on a first-come basis, we may need to turn parents away if space becomes full.

Unfortunately, we don’t have space for parents to watch their child’s dance class as it’s not on the gym floor, but parents are more than welcome to stay in the club during the dance class.

Parents of preschool children must remain in club during their class, however, parents of children attending an Independent Preschool Movement class can leave the club. Find out more about Preschool classes here.

I have another child who’s interested in joining Gymfinity Kids – is there a discount if I sign up more than one child?

Yes, we offer a discount on the joining fee for every additional child. Please contact Member Services at info@gymfinitykids.com.

Do the children follow an awards scheme?

All gymnasts and ninjas follow a progressive curriculum and work towards an award scheme. The award scheme has been developed by leading educational and gymnastics specialists. Throughout your child’s journey with us, you will have access to their progress tracking and see what skills they have completed on which level within your parent portal.

Alongside the award scheme, children also can achieve stickers and rewards for their development.

We hold Award Weeks every few months to celebrate the children’s achievements. You can find out more about our Award Weeks here.

Do the children get to participate in competitions?

We host competitions for all ages and levels throughout the year. You can find out more about our competitions here.

We look forward to welcoming you into club and can’t wait to see how your child progresses!
